Inspiration for Our factory Girl Shoot

Bambi Northwood-Blyth//

As we've been chasing a few up and coming models in Britain (annoyingly, to no avail), Kate suggested that we feature new Australian model Bambi Northwood-Blyth, as she's all over the Australian blogs and dominated the catwalks of the recent Australian Fashion Week. Once I'd written the article, I kept finding editorials all over the internet featuring Bambi, so here are a few.

Dip DYE//

Some examples of dip dyeing which I have considered doing for the 90's shoot. I think it screams Courtney Love.

90's All American Kool Kid//

For the shoot with model Nikki Brazier, we have decided to collect some images that could be recreated and inspire us. I love the colour palette in these shots and have decided to keep the styling colours down to red, black, blue, and beige. I am also on the hunt for a red bandana and vintage band tee's. Nikkis hair will be styled with a soft wave and we might even dye the ends of her hair another colour (but we have to experiment first, as it might clash) I love these shots and the styling itself is the shoot personified. I love the 90's american cool kid theme that is running through and want to keep the shoot American inspired with a British edge.

Locations//

Today I marched around town searching for locations for our '90's all american cool kid' shoot. I went in the arcade which I never go in, and came across these great locations to use. There's also a vintage record shop I am also going to use. The shoot is going to feature my 15 year old sister wearing 90's style double denim, bandanas, sunglasses, socks and all american vintage t-shirts. I am also going to use bright make up and her hair will be styled at Sunderland & Barnett in Nottingham. I am so excited for this shoot- I cannot wait to get started.

Backstage- Australian Fashion Week//

More beauty ideas for our shoot with Aimee Nittha. This is backstage at Australian Fashion Week. Gems, glitter, facepaint and body tattoos are so on trend right now- and I think our model will carry this off perfectly.

I was looking through blogs and came across this outstanding beauty shoot- I was thinking an idea for our shoot with Aimee Nittha. I am also inspired by body tattoos, gems, and face paint.
